Lockton Sales Competition Schedule

The National Strategic Selling Institute is excited to host our Spring 2022 Lockton Sales Competition. The competition is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 7 - Friday, 8, 2022, and all events will be held at the College of Business at Kansas State University. Below is a complete schedule, with all times listed in Central Time Zone (CST).

Note: All students must complete the registration form to compete in the competition. Each student will then receive a confirmation email, and included in the email will be a link to sign-up for their Round 1 role-play time. All registered students must sign-up for their Round 1 role-play time slot by Sunday, April 3, 2022. Time slots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis, and students will receive a calendar invitation from the K-State Sales Program with their confirmed time slot.

Thursday, April 7, 2022

Round 1
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Dress: Business Professional
Calendar Invitation: Individual calendar invitiations will be sent to each student competing by end of the day on Monday, April 4, 2022. These invites will come from K-State Sales Program and confirm the students' Round 1 role-play time slot.

The students advancing to Round 2 will be notified by 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. At that time, the key takeaways from Round 1 will be released and the students will sign-up for their preferred time to compete in Round 2. You must sign-up for your Round 2 time slot by Thursday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. All slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Round 2
Time: 2:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Dress: Business Professional
Calendar Invitation: Individual calendar invitiations will be sent to each student competing by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. These invites will come from K-State Sales Program and confirm the students' Round 2 role-play time slot.

The students advancing to Round 3, or the final round, will be notified by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. At that time, the three finalists will be assigned their time for Round 3. The key takeaways from Round 2 will be released to the final round competitors 30 minutes before their scheduled time to compete in Round 3.

Friday, April 8, 2022

Round 3 (Final Round)
Time: 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Dress: Business Professional
Calendar Invitation: Individual calendar invitiations will be sent to each student competing by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. These invites will come from K-State Sales Program and confirm the students' Round 3 role-play time slot.

Note: The Round 3, or Final Round, will be lived streamed for all students competing. The live stream will take place in 4061 Business Building.

Competition Awards Luncheon
The final placings will be announced at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Competition Awards Luncheon hosted for all students competing in the Lockton Sales Competition.

Dress: Business Casual
Location: 4061 Business Building

Note: All students competing are required to attend the Competition Awards Luncheon. If you are not in attendance, you will forfeit your student merit award. Should you not be able to attend in person, accomodations can be made on a case-by-case basis. You will have to contact Kellie Jackson at kelliejackson@ksu.edu to discuss.
