To ensure
being considered for a scholarship from the College of Business, please
complete the following steps.

- Submit the general
scholarship application directly to the Office of Student Financial
Assistance (OSFA). Use either the web (http://www.ksu.edu/ksusfa)
or the paper form. This should be done by February 1.
- Apply to K-State
for admission. Be sure to indicate business as your major. This will
assure that you will be on all business lists and receive all business
mailings.
- If you are considering
becoming an Accounting major, there is a separate application available
online. It is due by February 1. Please mail completed application to:

their studies in the College of Business Administration must apply each

This should be done by February 1.
- There are separate

Available
Scholarships:
- Departmental Scholarships
Applications are accepted between Nov. 1 and Feb. 1
- Outside Scholarships:
After the Office of
Student Financial Assistance has made its awards in early December and
January, the College of Business Administration will review those awards
and follow with its own awards in late March.
The scholarship application
is reviewed for many things. For incoming freshman we consider ACT scores,
cumulative GPA, rank in class, grade trends, courses taken, activities
and honors. For transfer and continuing students we consider cumulative
GPA and total credit hours, along with courses taken and activities.
If you are awarded
a College of Business scholarship, the award letter will show the amount
of your scholarship and include an acceptance form for you to complete.
Although you may not be sure that K-State or the College of Business is
for you, accepting the business scholarship when you receive the offer
is wise. If you do choose to attend another university or decide not to
enter business, you can always inform us of that decision later.
Please address any
concerns or questions regarding your scholarship application status
or
any other scholarship questions to Student Services, College of Business
Administration, (785) 532-6180, email:
