In 1913,
Beta Gamma Sigma became a national organization. Election to membership
in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic honor that a student in
Business Administration can attain. To be eligible for membership, students
must rank in the upper 7% of their junior class, the upper 10% of their
senior class, or the upper 20% of those in the graduate programs of business.
The National Society also confers National Honoree Awards upon a limited
number of persons who have made a meritorious contribution to society
through outstanding business and managerial leadership.
