A COLLEGE FOR A CHANGING WORLD

Accreditation

Kansas State University's College of Business Administration is among only 30 percent of business schools and colleges in the nation that are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of April, 2007, 549 member institutions hold AACSB business accreditation, of which 167 have separate accounting accreditation.  Sixty two Accreditation Council members are outside of the United States.

Accreditation by AACSB International affirms that the College of Business Administration demonstrates a distinguished level of performance in its graduate and undergraduate programs. To achieve accreditation, business programs must satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process, and achievement of learning goals in degree programs.  These standards are mission-linked.

AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business has been enhancing the quality of management education since 1916. AACSB International is the premier accrediting agency for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in business administration and accounting worldwide. The association provides global leadership in the delivery of management education through its accreditation programs and by fostering:

    • international exchange
    • key business links
    • the sharing of best practices
    • and professional development opportunities.

Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review.
